Our scone recipe has been developed by our in house Mother Goose, AKA, Mama Nancy. Our buttermilk scone is cooked in a pan and cut into cakelike slices. Served with preserves and our homemade organic lemon curd, they're soft and moist so don't expect any dryness. Delicious. It is soft and cake like making it nothing like the dry crumbly scones often found drying out on display shelves. They were written up in Atlantic Monthly Magazine for being the best scone in the country. It's hard to sell scones at a crumpet shop but don't ignore them, they are to die for.
